Link Exchange and Yahoo Pipes - Step by Step

As promised in my previous article "Link Exchange and Yahoo Pipes" today I am going to show step by step how anyone can use Yahoo Pipes technology to get better effect from the link building.
I have recently made a test and created special Yahoo pipe which had three aims: - get better Yahoo exposure/indexing; - get more traffic from visitors of Yahoo Pipes; - get more potential link exchange partners.
Today I am going to explain how exactly I made it.
I created a special Yahoo pipe where I submitted the RSS feeds on my sites that had link building directories. The beauty of Yahoo Pipes technology is that other people, who liked the way this or that pipe can simply click 'Clone' link and get this pipe ready for their editing.
Why Editing?
Because when you clone any pipe, you get the access to edit it any way you wish. And this is where the spin-off effect starts. People see my pipe, see from having my RSS feeds inside it I can really succeed with my aims (indexing, traffic and more link partners). They want to have the same, so they clone the pipe and ... add their own RSS feeds of link directories. Now all others who see this pipe will see MY directories plus THEIR directories. And then it becomes a snowball, with more and more people adding their feeds to the base.
The results of this strategy can be amazing!
First of all, the more people clone this pipe, the more popular it is in the eyes of Yahoo - hence, the faster is Yahoo indexing to all new pages in the link directories that submitted their feeds to the pipe. And deep indexing of all directory pages by Yahoo is a great victory.
Secondly, the more popular is any pipe, the more people see it. Hence, any site has more potential traffic.
And the third advantage - the more people see the directories, the more chances that you will catch 'some extra' good link partners for the sites, because people like joining winners.
How to Create Yahoo Pipe?
(1) Register Yahoo Account.
(2) Go to http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/ and click 'create a new pipe' button. This will send you to graphical interface where you can play with feeds any way you like: sort them, make them searchable for keywords, filter for unnecessary elements, etc.
BUT, before you start doing it yourself, better pick a good pipe and clone it. Because thus you will get a ready made pipe that you can experiment with and see the guts of this technology.
(3) Once your pipe is made, publish it, and Yahoo will do the rest. Yahoo promotes pipes and sends people there, Yahoo indexes the sites that submitted their feeds, because Yahoo wants to push this technology, hence it is quite logical that they help a little in indexing. So this is a great chance to use this opportunity.
Yahoo Pipes technology will help not only link exchange. You can make your articles more visible by submitting their RSS feed to the pipe. Or you can make your site network more visible. Anything that has RSS feed can give you extra help in Yahoo. Use Yahoo Pipes, and you will see that they really help.

Improving your website's ability to do what you want it to do (capture a subscriber or get a sale) is one of the most important skills you'll possess. If you ask me, having this skill has the possibility to increase your profits by 200% to 300%. Traffic still remains a the number one key factor, but imagine if you drive 100 visitors to your website everyday, and one buys. If you can make two people buy instead, you have just doubled your profit. It is a simple concept, but implementing it can be a slightly different story. In this article I'm going to discuss 5 easy ways to skyrocket your website conversion rates.
Adding a guarantee
This is one of the number one rules of a web page if you are selling something, especially if it is a high-ticket item. You want to give your customer an element of safety when he purchases. This is especially so on the web where the consumer can't see or feel the product for himself! Adding a guarantee tells the customer that you have confidence in your product. Sure, some customers will rip you off, but you'll make far more sales with a guarantee.
Having an attention-grabbing headline
The headline is the first, and sometimes the only thing, your visitor will read. If you can grab your visitor's emotions with your headline, it is more likely he will stay to read the rest of your website's copy. The more your visitor reads, the more likely he or she is to take your desired action, be it a sale or an opt-in.
Using testimonials and endorsements
Having testimonials from satisfied customers is a proven way to increase conversion rates. It gives your website 'social proof' and the visitor will think that if others have experienced positive results with your product, then it possible for them to do so as well. You can also ask experts to endorse your product, further adding credibility to your business.
Ease the sales process
Your website should have one or two objectives only, whether to get the sale or/and opt-in. If you provide too many options, your visitor may get confused and live your website. Don't add too many links or Adsense advertisements to your website. If you make it easy and tell your visitor what to do, it is likely he'll follow your instructions. People actually like being told what to do! Albeit subconsciously.

Lazy and Silent Way of Making Money

Every now and again something comes along that is really unique, incredibly effective, and wonderfully profitable. Those things are rarely ever free, which is what makes what I'm about to tell you so outstanding. Whether you're new to earning money online or a seasoned Internet Marketing professional, you want to read this entire email immediately.
Now, to the heart of the matter.
I've built web sites that ranked well in the search engines, and I've sold affiliate products from those sites. I've setup hundreds of AdSense sites and profited handsomely from them as well. But the single biggest money maker I have ever had is my email list. There's just no getting around this truth: the money is in the list. You know what Tim said?

6 Crucial Steps For Building A Solid, Bullet Proof Business Online

It's not uncommon on the internet to hear of someone who just started out online one day and makes a mountain of money the next. It's not unusual for the people who have been online for awhile who spend their time learning and testing which methods work, they create a brand new site, do everything correctly and make a tonne of money online in just a matter of weeks. Crazy but true.
So, what's the magic success formula for building your own solid, bullet proof business?
1) The first port of call is your own web site, I cannot stress this enough, it is absolutely vital that you have your own web site where you have full control over all content, the last thing you want is a "free" site riddled with distracting ads and pop ups promoting other businesses and companies. There must be a built in feature that allows you to view your web traffic statistics to know what is working when and how. If you do not know how to program, most people starting out don't, there are plenty of good site builder type programs out there that allow you to point and click when creating your first web site. Shop around for these types of sites, most webhosting providers should offer this feature when you join up with them, do your research and enquire.
2) You must have a way of collecting leads on your web site. The best way is through use of an auto responder. This enables you to send these leads a welcome message and a series of messages in the days following for the purpose of getting to know your subscriber better. Always treat these leads the way you would like to be treated, don't push offers for the sake of making a quick buck, it's the best surefire way to slim your list numbers overnight if they sense your peddling products just for the sake of a dollar. This is a give and take area, your aim is to develop a good standing relationship with your subscribers, teaching them what you know about your field, sending them useful, relevant information, and they in return, will purchase your products. Your list is definitely an asset worth nurturing and protecting, never underestimate its value.
3) Once your lead collection system is in place, you must drive traffic to your site. Without it your business is like an Old Western deserted ghost town.
Some people prefer PPC, (pay per click) campaigns like Overture, MSN and of course the widely known Google Ads. If you're not familiar with this particular mode of advertising, you pay a specified amount each time someone clicks on your site, this amount was decided when you first created your campaign and should be aligned with your budget and marketing needs.
Others try "guaranteed traffic" where you purchase to have a set quota of people sent to visit your site, I personally dislike this form of advertising as in my experience I've found that the traffic was either incentivized, this means "paid" a certain amount of money by the company to visit my site, this lead to very low conversion to sales rates as the type of traffic is generally not interested in my offer but rather motivated but the money they were being paid to visit. With that in mind if the visitor's main purpose is to make money visiting sites, they're going to be whirlwinding through your site to get to the next, let alone checking out what you have to offer.
Another feature of guaranteed visitors I'm wary of is that (some not all) vendors who sell the guaranteed visitor packs use automated clicks. What this means is that you're not getting actual visitors but a robot to click through to your site giving the illusion you're getting traffic. Be very careful as lots of people have had their Adsense accounts terminated due to this form of advertising as Google's system detects it as "click" fraud with clicks being identified as coming from the same source.
Final note: if you are going to explore the guaranteed traffic route, at least find out where the traffic is coming from and how it is generated. If it's incentivized, seriously think twice about it.
A great promotional method I recommend is something I'm doing right this second as I'm talking to you, article writing. Writing and submitting articles to directories is a great way to get your name out there, and best of all, it's free, it costs nothing more than your time and is extremely targeted. Readers who visit my site are already pre-qualified, they know what they are going to get based upon reading my article.
I prefer it to any PPC campaign as you can get your point across better in a 500 word article in comparison to a 70 character ad.
4) When developing a list you must develop a relationship with the people on that list. Send them valuable, useful information. Resist sending sales letters. If they like your information and genuine recommendations they will pay for your products. If you don't send them useful information then they are less likely to buy from you. The universal rule of "you only get out what you put in", truly applies here.
5) If you don't for the time being have your own product to promote then affiliate marketing is a good way to get started, but always aim, in the long run to develop your own products based upon your own interests and strengths.
6) Last but not least, none of this information matters if you don't kick start it into action and apply it, so get started! Learn and apply new techniques as you go, but the main take away lesson here is to just start. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, it's all part of the learning process and nobody aces it the first time round, but I assure you, you'll be light years ahead if you start now than if you were to be continue learning without applying the knowledge, you see, nothing can substitute real world knowledge and experience.

Niche Product Marketing has become a fine science. It is one of the easiest forms of internet marketing to duplicate over and over. In Step One, we will define "niche" and explain how to find an interesting niche market for your niche website that will make you lots of money!

Are you ready? Let's begin.

"Niche" definition In the context of Internet Marketing, a "niche market" is a market that is highly specialized and specific, has many searches for information on, yet has very few search results for in the search engines. Its "supply and demand" in the virtual world.

If you type dog food into your Google search engine, you will find more than 50 million results. As you can see, that topic is not a niche and is highly competitive. However, if you enter "dog food for puppies" into your Google browser, you will get a return of only 13,500 results. Now we're talking!

But wait, now we need to know how many people are searching for a niche product marketing or information site on "dog food for puppies". According to Overture, about 10 people per day are searching for this related term; about 300 per month. Not the best niche product market, but not the worst, either. However, this sums up the definition of "niche".

How to Find an Interesting Niche Market You may wonder, "Why does my niche website have to be interesting?". The best advice I ever received was to make sure that my niche web site was of a subject matter that I was interested in. Who wants to work on a site, or write articles to promote that site, on a niche subject that does not interest you? How boring and tedious would that be?

Think about your hobbys and interests. Do you like to sew quilts? Really enjoy fantasy baseball? Are you a big fan of a certain sports team? Perhaps you have a special skill? Flaunt it! Enjoy your niche marketing site! If there is enough interest, you will get traffic. If your content and products are of good quality, you will sell niche products. You know the saying, "If you build it, they will come". Find a niche market that interests you, build your site, and most importantly, enjoy your work!

After you have listed your interests and hobbys, you can use the Overture/Google strategy to find exactly where to narrow down your niche into a highly sought after area.
